Update from my end: 3rd Nov applicant, DM 23rd OCT, PPR 2 Nov. Ottawa received my passport on 9th Nov and got request for my dependent to submit passport in Local cic (Home country) on 16th Nov. My wife passport received to them on 18th Nov and she got it back with PR visa stamped on 25th Nov...

for point 3, do the PR 5 year period start from landing date or PR visa issue date?

Guys , i got ppr on 3rd nov, sent mine passport on 4th and requested to do visa stamping from local cic office (Delhi) for my dependent. Do anyone know how much time it will take to get a request for my dependent if anyone had gone through same situation??

Fingerprints needed only if they see a person similar like you in there system. So then theywant to make sure to identify you based on ur biometircs ....Not needed for everyone....only do it if they asked..

Since you are main applicant you can land alone /with family (son) without any issues....so there is nothing to worry.... Second you don't need any consent document unless your husband has raised any legal action against you.........only in ur home country they may ask....bcoz my wife always...

Even i also got DM today.3rd Nov applicant was on IP from 17 july with additonal doc req. It took nearly 93 days to move from IP to DM..

@Tiffany13, Yes i saw my ECAS is updated from IP to DM today only. it nearly took 3 months and 4 days....was on IP from July 17.
