In all likelihood you will just get a generic Reply saying its within normal processing times . As they work at there own pace .... Slow

Depends on the embassy or the person who handles your file . Like my wife had her PPR jan 9, didn't hear anything until DM march 20 and now 32 days later still waiting on passport and visa

depending on the embassy, PPR request doesn't always mean a DM is coming quickly. Some embassy's hold passport for months before DM is made good luck

and another day starts in the Philippines, and another day of hoping and expectation begins.... will visa be today??? day 32 since DM and counting good luck everyone

there is no further update... I think that's why people get so frustrated with this whole system, there is no consistency . It depends on the person who handles your file, there mood there work ethic etc... so many variables . Also when they inform you they will process or ship something to...

The wait can be substantial , as we received DM match 20, passport and visa would be shipped shortly is what they said .. Well it's been over a month and have not seen it yet. I'm sure you will receive it shortly

Chrislyn , that's exactly the same email they sent me back on march 20, so I think they are confused between the coming weeks and the coming months . It is now into month 2 with no visa yet . I'm trying to hold my self back from contacting the embassy and really going off on them .

I hope this is the week visa shows up, today is day 30 since DM and stated by them visa package would be shipped shortly

once they are returning PP, they will send visa package by courier, it seems if your medical is to expire quickly they might call you and give you the option to pick it up at the embassy

Yes good luck to everyone for next week. Lets hope the embassy has some production next week. I'll be contacting them next week if We don't receive my wife's passport and visa , and perhaps I'll try and educate them on there use of the terminology of "shortly" I'm sure many of you will...

Ch99 good luck , hope your visa shows up soon , we are day 28 and still no visa . I try to remind myself that paper work takes much much longer in the phills

they should email you, but ofcourse that is not consistent to what really happens. sometimes they email sometimes they don't.

Yeah the frustrating part is you get DM and email stating visa package will be shipped shortly so you think this long process is over , but then more time passes and nothing shows up..... I guess being in business in Canada I'm Use to getting things done quickly in Canada and most paper work...

Our visa is good until October 2015, we were told we would receive visa package shortly but that was march 20.

So they finalized your application and approved you but them told you that you would be on hold until May 3 ? That's crazy , why finalize the application then ?

Yeah ecas has been decision made since match20. They sent my MP an email stating it was finalized and visa package would be shipped shortly. Been almost a month but no visa package yet

Any August applicants receive there visa yet? This is day 26 for us since the embassy said all was finalized and stated visa package would be shipped shortly. All we can do is wait . Good luck to all
