Well... after 63 days waiting, still no PR card and im flying to Canada next week. I was going to apply for PRTD but then processing time went down to 42 and silly me I thought I would get it in time... Lets hope I can make it to Canada.... It wont be March 15 yet, going from Visa exempt...

They have updated processing time to 38 days now.

Last week they told me to call after March 3rd... I hope it wasn't just a random day to keep me away.

Really? "In process" means not still in production? They told me that on the phone and also after I sent and email using the case specific inquire link... I thouhgt in process was "general", and it could be anywhere but they wouldnt tell me. At least I specifically asked about my photos and...

I find even more stupid that one cant travel just with passport and signed COPR while waiting for the card.

Can air carriers check that someone is PR and then see than an old visa is invalid because of that? I have a similar situation. Dont have a PR card yet, only my visa-exempt passport and CoPR. I have already my flght back to canada, since it was round trip. If I say im visiting then doesnt...

I would say taxi is commercial, too. But a rented car is allowed. -Im in a similar situation and maybe will do this.

Landed January 1st, but still no PRC. Phoned CIC yesterday but was told to call again after March 3rd if no news. Im not sure if that means it has been already mailed or not because I couldnt understand well what she said due to her accent. I guess I will have to phone again to find out... ::)

No, I prefer waiting than calling from outside. Probably would be for nothing. Its only 50 days now... The last average is 55-60 until received in mail box. If its not there next week I will start getting :( a lot more worried
