My wife just called immigration. They said that government actually prioritizes refugees, then wives and children, so it could be long and "they can't do nothing". I understand fed gov just doesn't want to provide enough resources to process cases. We asked for all information about our file.

It's not so easy to give you an answer, it depends of lot of variable, especially how much time they spent in Canada since they have 18, their native country, etc... Short story : if they come in Canada after 65, they don't really have money...

They must do their own tax return.

So they request new medical exam, which cost money & time, cause they're not able to do what they have to do in time? ://// At this point they can wait till the medical exam is rejected (or people die, why not), so no more problem (yes, I'm upset).

No news here, too. Medical exam pass April 6, 2020.

Still nothing here. We gonna try to contact CIC again, then probably contact our local MP, but we're not very optimistic... Waiting since August, 2018... Last news was medical exam on April 2020 (passed).

Nothing change for us.... More than 2 years now.... :(

Hi, Unfortunately nop. Since february or march when we sent the CSQ, we haven't received any news... E-cas says CIC doesn't ask for anything, we just could wait.

Didn't receive any news for months... Seems CSQ from Quebec (even if we received it very quickly after application) slow down process :(

Just an update : (line 167- 2018 ) received doc from federal on 2019-02-25 that we meet sponsor eligibility, so we can send a request to Québec for CSQ (so we did, AOR from Québec on 2019-03-19).

Yep, they sent us a request to pay in october for futur biometrics test (lots before we've received AOR). They said they will send later instructions avoir that, and that biometrics test must ne provide for all application since +/- August, 2018.

They've asked us for 2 documents since we've applied. Once (biometrics) we must use webform, another (a form we miss to fill on the right away) we could send by email (no webform) or mail (no fax).

Hi there, My mother in law received September 7th an email asking us to pay for biometrics (just payment). So we also have an application number. The first news we receive since application. Tried to link the account with E-cas, following instructions from the google sheets: big failure :(
