Hi, I called up CPC Ottawa customer care and they told they can fasten the process only after it exceeded 30 days from the date of passport delivery. If any of you got a different reply, please let me know. Passports were delivered on nov 21st.

My passport was delivered on November 21st 2017..I called the CIC website today and they still didn't send our passports for printing. Guess it might take 2 more weeks.

This is such a bad planning :( I don't understand why they would ask for passport and stock it up if they don't have resource to process it faster, especially around the holidays.

When I tried calling them through the toll-free number, it keeps saying that the lines are busy.

My husband and I have sent our passports on November 20th. We are stuck on either side of the border, US and Canada. We did not get any response when we emailed them. Is there a phone number to get in touch with them? I am not sure if we would get it before Christmas.
