Hi, generally it takes 1~2 weeks more to clear DD as compare to CC. In case of CC, CIC input the card details and then the money is deducted from the Credit card but in case of DD, it has to be submitted to local Canadian bank and then will be cleared by the bank. Don't worry, still it is safer...
