I don't think they will refuse you for getting one question wrong. Their decision is based on all the evidence they have on your application. They also know people get nervous at interviews. I wish you all the best.

I agree with you. The best thing is to send everything you have upfront. I got a document request for that reason, though all the requested information has been sent, it will no doubt add another month to the processing of my application.

Medicals received doesn't mean your visa is ready. However a decision has been made most likely on your eligibility for the category for which you applied. There are different levels to the processing as you can see from the ecas explanation. I also doubt they will update your Medicals if...

If it will be of help to anyone. Application was sent February 22 Application returned March 5 for updated forms. Updated forms received by CIC on March 26th AOR on 5th of April SA on 10th April Medicals received on April 17

Sorry to hear about your case. The same thing happened to me about the same time you submitted your application. I was however lucky to get my forms back early. The updated forms were returned within a week and my application approved about ten days later. I wish you all the best.

How come you landed in January 2014 and you got sponsorship approval in May 2014? Am I missing something?

That is the one. If you are in Canada why don't you take the letter to an immigration lawyer and they can advice you on what to do.

It is IMM0008 type it into Google you should find it. Be careful not to contradict the previous one you sent in.

I would advice you to send the same one you sent earlier along with your passport. If that is all they requested for that is what you should do. You can download the form from CIC website.

Congratulations! Send them what they requested for and get it over with.

A decision to request for your passport. They will not request for your passport unless your medicals and security checks are satisfactory. That is, by the time you get the "medical received" update, you have either passed your interview or exempted from interview. This of course is my opinion.
