I got the letter which was mailed Dec 23 (was away on vacation so I only got it yesterday). But my ecas still has not updated to show the oath invitation.

I am waiting for my oath right now but was looking at the requirements for the Canadian passport. Since I've been to Canada, I've moved from city to city every year due to my spouse's work, so I don't know anyone for over 2 years. My spouse isn't a Canadian citizen, so I guess I will need 4...

No that didn't happen to me. And as for the color of the letter I think this is only to organize people during the test and have groups for the interview after the test. I don't believe the color means anything. They told me oath would be between 3 to 6 months.

My test was today in surrey. Took only like 6 minutes to do the test. The interview part was smooth and took maybe 5 minutes. She told me I would receive my oath invitation within 2 to 6 months. Hopefully sooner than later. Has anyone received the oath invite lately? if so, when was your test?

Crossing border back into Canada just after midnight - like 12:10 am.. does that count as 2 days away or 1 day away or a day trip? thanks

got my test invite for Nov 5th. yay! send my application feb 2014 and is in process since april. I'm glad I got my invite already.. looking at other peoples timeline I wasn't expecting a date until 2015.. so thats awesome! :)

THANK YOU!!!!! I had not thought about that and was anxious about it and was gonna try and call them in the morning but searching with my client ID number worked... I guess my PR card expiring means it was removed from the system or something and they couldn't find me using it... thank you :)...

I applied for citizenship back in February. Everything was looking good on ecas until today when I checked. Last time I checked was probably friday or saturday and it was working fine. My PR card expired between the last time I checked my citizenship status and now. So Im not sure if thats even...

SO my PR card expired a couple days ago and Im still waiting for a new one. However, now when I check my online status, it says that they couldn't find me based on my info.. Does my PR card expiring cause a problem with my online status?

I remember searching a few weeks ago and Surrey was there with a ceremony sometime in september. Now its gone.. Maybe an error?
