I did my landing last friday at emerson- border. I am from winnipeg. On monday morning, my e-cas says complete. It was pretty fast just over the weekend. It probably does not matter though. I am looking forward to seeing updates about the PR card on the ECAS too.

Exactly what I thought too, I have never seen any timeline like this. It is hard to believe, but this is what happened to me for real. On the morning of Aug 22 I checked my ECAS, still says application received, no in-process yet. Then 10:00pm same day I got PPR, I checked ECAS again still...

You have to contact CIC immediately and declare your change in marital status. Do not attempt to land without declaring your spouse, otherwise you will not be able to sponsor your spouse in the future. Yes your spouse have to undergo medical and criminality check before you can do your landing.
