    Hi pomara1, We are in the same situation. We got our ITA and we are applying from Venezuela. The doctor we contacted asked for the same form. We told him about the upfront thing but he doesn't seem to know. Did you find one up to date with the express entry? How did it work out?

    That was not very helpful. As I said, I don't have to import it. As a temporary resident (student) I can bring a car for my own use. w.riv.ca/RIVExemptions.aspx So can a just cross the border and bring a new car? Seems to easy to be true....

    I understand that as an international student I can bring a car from the US and I dont need to import it. But, if I'm already in Canada, can I go south of the border to buy a car and bring it? I have all the required documentation to buy a car in the US and it would be way cheaper.
