I received reply from CIC for VO change mail confirmation on August 1st.. I took 34 days for the response.. My passport with Australia CIC for stamping, hopefully I'll get it soon..

Hi cheemaprince_brar, Since you are principal applicants, there is no harm in getting your husband's passport and sending together to Canada. But you have to find a way to get the passport to Canada, from india to any country mailing/transporting passport through courier is not allowed...
