thanks The timeline was 16 days couple months ago on the website, now seems to be 25 but none of those period are near the real waiting time which is 6-8 weeks in most of cases.

The IELTS test validity period is usually 2 years, not 1. They take into consideration the date your file was received. For instance: If you got your IELTS results in April 2014 and your file was RECEIVED in May 2015, it should be good as your results expires on April 2016.

I think it is a great idea if you can stand the extreme weather there (Not that different from the other provinces, honestly). So if you need only 8-10 weeks of work experience at that province to apply as I understood, then yes, go for it. Why wouldn't it be a good idea to invest ONLY 8-10...

Yes, you can apply for a Bridged open WP if you get your file number after you apply for PR, but if you just have your certificate of nomination then you can just apply for a CLOSED WP to keep working with your current employer. Good luck!

I would advice you to wait till you get your PR before you make that move. Who knows what might happen if your current employer contacted CIC to file a complaint about you. Why to take this risk when you are so close to your goal right?

If you got a BOWP then YES, you can work wherever you want inside your province. You can work at both jobs if you want to.

yeah I asked her again and she said 6-8 days. Maybe she meant business days but still that's like 2 weeks only and according to the processing time for PR cards it should be 2 weeks as I recall. @redstone: yes, they usually only ask for COPR and passport
