Are they asking for another bank statement at any point after application?

Hi, I'm just wondering if anybody has been asked to re-submit bank statements after the EE application / before they got their PR. Are they checking back if we still have the money we claimed to have initially (and proved with bank statements)? Thanks for any information.

Let's say I don't wanna be on Implied Status...

... because I wanna take some time off and travel. My visa expires in early July, I sent my EE application off in May. I haven't applied for the BOWP yet, but I think I will soon. Can I then leave the country in August, come back in as a visitor, and start working again whenever the BOWP...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Well, do what you gotta do. It's a fact though, and the link we have posted before leaves no room for interpretation. Good luck http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=1009&t=29&wbdisable=true

Haha, sorry, at least everyone got the point now ;) +1 for you too And good job on declining the ITA. It was a horrrible moment wasn't it? After all the waiting. But I'm sure they'll invite us again and then we'll do it right!! Good luck!

    Confused! Fund Requirement- CEC Candidates

Hey, to be safe, I'd recommend to enter a smaller amount of funds. Also make sure she replied "No" to the famous job offer question. She should become ineligible for FSW then and only be in the pool for CEC.

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Hi, this site should clarify the Yes/No issue: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=1009&t=29&wbdisable=true The question is weird and it's annoying that they don't specify what kind of job offer they are asking about. But it's now clear and there is NO DOUBT that by "Do you...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Yeah, that's just not realistic, they would never have enough people signed up with LMIAs to reach their quotas. Plus, I've read a lot about that Yes/No question and FSW ITAs in the past days. Seems like almost everyone made the same mistake. Which means tons of people will be declining their...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Because I don't wanna have to prove them if it's not actually necessary. It's not like the funds are just lying around in my bank account, it's a bit more complicated. I just thought for some reason taht I need the funds in any PR application process, but I'd rather not have to prove/make them...

ATTN 5th Draw Candidates with Less than 600 Points

Hi all, I agree, everyone should be cautious at this point. I had to decline my ITA because I made the mistake to say YES to the job offer although I don't have an LMIA. After declining I changed it in my profile to NO, and decreased the funds. I had put 12.000 as funds because I thought it's...

Continuous work experience and unpaid vacation

So tricky! I think I'll go with the second option to be sure. At least they can't blame me for lying then, even if it might seem confusing that I entered 3 separate work experiences with the same employer in the same position (which means I have to upload 3 different reference documents as well)...

Continuous work experience and unpaid vacation

Hi all, just came across another potential issue with the system. So EE awards me with 40 points for 1 year continuous work experience in Canada, because I entered the dates that I have been employed like this: Nov 2013 - Jun 2014 July 2014 - present However, I have small gaps in my...

Work History Section-Weird System Issue Found

I have the same issue, because I had a little gap of a few weeks in my work experience. When I entered Nov 2013 to Jun 2014 and then Aug 2014 - present, it won't count my points. However, when I changed the second part to July 2014 - present, it does count the points. The system doesn't want you...

Making changes to application after ITA

Oh man, I just asked on another forum and the reply was the complete opposite. Also looking at this website it kind of implies that I should not say yes: http:// www . cic . gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=1009&t=29&wbdisable=true Also, if I continue after putting all my details in, my...

Making changes to application after ITA

Hi all! So I received an ITA with 482 points which was a bit unexpected after all, I figured it would take longer. However, after submitting my profile a while ago I never really double-checked it again. So at the time I answered "Yes" for job offer but "No" for the LMIA, which I don't have and...
