Tudo Bem..Don't worry. It's the same FedEx guy delivering the same applications to the same place on a daily basis in the small town of Sydney with a mere population of 31,597 in 2011 (in 2006, it was 32,496 -- so a decrease of 2.8% in 5 years!) When did you send it? When is it supposed to...

Hi Oscar7, did you see my previous post « Reply #60581 on: August 24, 2014, 10:32:57 am » ? ;) Although that section is from (for customs) "Bring as much money as you can to make moving and finding a home in Canada easier. Note, however, that Canadian customs regulations require you to declare...

What do you mean "the source of the money"? Sounds like you'll be OK, based on the limited information you provided.

I disagree. If the stocks are purchased in a cash account, rather than a margin account, they are unencumbered. If your bank can provide a current certification letter for your stocks showing value higher than the amount of funds required (in CAD) for your application, you should be OK.

Do your stocks constitute 'unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible currency'?. see Section 15 of the Document Checklist. Much better to show cash... http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp These funds could be in the form of: •cash •documents that show...

Your starting point should be the official CIC website which has ALL the information you need. Look at the Document Checklist, Instruction Guide, Eligibility Requirements, etc. You really don't need to hire a consultant if you spend the time to read up on the rules, regulations and...

The Document Checklist says "If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the original version." If the translation has only the stamp of the agency, I would have it notarized by a notary public to make it look official and...

I couldn't find you among the 20 applicants for NOC1114 on the SS. Were you using a different profile name for 1114? I suppose you are not preparing a second application under 4011 because you are worried about the cap being reached for 1114?

Registered nurse - that's great!. Wording can be different, but the content should be the same, yes.

What you write under Main Duties in Schedule 3 should be along the same vein as what's written in your letters of reference and hopefully your NOC as per the Human Resources and Skills Development Canada or Statistics Canada websites (same information on both websites anyway.)

Presumably, your uncle is a PR or a Canadian citizen. Or else, wouldn't be helpful for your application. See Section 14 of the Document Checklist. If he doesn't have a birth certificate (some countries don't issue birth certificates), does he not have a national ID card which shows the names...

Another major advantage is after you land, if you want to leave Canada without having received your PR card yet, you can come back easily as a visitor since there won't be a visa sticker/counterfoil in your passport. Technically, once outside Canada (unless you are coming back in a private...

Correct, if approved, they simply send you the COPR in the post. I see you are Japanese, so this applies to you, too. There are about 60 countries and territories whose citizens do not need a visa to visit or transit Canada (visa exemptions).
