I received by blue book in May, and then heard from them to schedule my ADR in August/September, but that was from Vancouver office... I've heard that Toronto has a longer wait, but I could be wrong! There are many people in here I am sure can give you an idea. I just wanted to put in my 2 cents.

Hi Galano, As far as I know as long as you are married you can go to the Immigration Office in the city your husband is in and change your visitor visa to a family visa. I believe it's good for 6 months. That's what I do when I go.
