@bass2009 Passport stamping can easily take 4-5 weeks, if u submitted it through VFS, u can check with them or call embassy (usually embassy will not entertaint u, to avoid rush of calls.. but no harm in trying ur luck) Take every thing and anything that u can take within allowed weight...

@khare smita It can take some time, as usually CSE are checked after a lag of few days. However, once they check it, it will not take a day or 2 to rectify. U need to be patient, u r already through the whole process.

@naijacanada Yes, if u have account in a bank's branch in UK and the statement is issued from the same branch (just being extra cautious), the statement can be used as POF. U can also carry TC/DD etc as POF

@devils7422 "Under process" simply means that the passport is with the embassy. They may take up to 2-3 weeks or even more. Once the visa is stamped, the status will change to something like "ready for delivery".

@shahraz U need not to worry, either the new VO will stamp it or send ur passports to actual VO. However, it may take sometime. This incident in itself, will not result in further review of ur file.

@ Manumole Yes, rejection rates after 3rd line r close to zero, if u have NO criminal record and ur security check is clean. Don't forget that there r hundreds of applications lined up with the visa officer, who may have decided to go on leave right after updation of 3rd line etc etc. Relax...
