Dear brother, Go to the respective branch where you got your DD from, probably the person who issued your DD still is there. Provide tge receipt (torn remains of tge DD) and request politely.

Well, was easier than I thought. I knew the guy personally who drafted my DD. Went to the branch asked him and Two days later he confrimed (funny, I was so excited I forgot to ask when was the DD encashed) : :P
