Think I got you beat on the misery scale. Came 2002. PR 2011. Citizen 2017. I make like 20x the required income. Quite literally. Pay more in taxes than people make in many years. I hate the process :( Feeling left over and over.

I think invites are pretty much done. Even last time around after a week they were done. Today is the 6th day out of 10 business days. Sad as hell. Stupid system.

Losing hope by the day. If I remember last year - or even previous years - the invites were done within the first week - which would be tmrw. Most likely if folks havent hit it by mid this week - Wed - pretty much its a no for this year. Good luck to folks still in the pot - but its not...

Super visa is a good option. Problem with it though is the lack of good medical options if stuff happens. Insurance sucks to cover pre-existing conditions. Getting PR is so much more better from that angle.

Congrats it appears the processing time these days is around a year. Check out the other threads where people have been tracking their progress. The 2022 cases might be most relevant as the capture the post-Covid processing timelines most accurately.

Agree. Also it rewards the folks who put in the effort to get to those income levels and demonstrate success in Canada. In addition, the length of time someone has been a PR/Citizen should also factor. Else how do you differentiate between those who came earlier and have been waiting longer?
