Hi, you shouldn't be worried. You can use the number provided to call them from outside Canada. It actually redirects to the same number that someone inside Canada would call, so unless they ask you outright, they shouldn't know you are calling from outside. I know because I did this as well...

Congrats on your landing! Getting your PR card could take anytime up to 6-8 weeks (and sometimes more). As Goku noted, you can call CIC and find out where it is in the process.

You should probably call again and find out to which address it was mailed, since it's passed the time they gave.

Yeah, mine is like that still and I've now received my card. At no point did another section for the PR Card show up.
