For those who have interviews/or are waiting for the interviews and want to know about (own risk) medicals: My wife just received an email for a medical, her interview is on March 7th. (May 24th Applicant).

So the marraige is valid but they are not sure if the relationship is geuine or not, that doesnt make sense. But considering how dumb they have been lately im not surprised.

Just recieved my gcms notes. Everything seems fine, there is a note by the Visa Officer which he concludes this way "I am satisfied the marraige is valid and the sponsor is residing in Canada. BF Interview" Now can someone tell me what BF interview means here? Is this a code word for something...

I dont think we need to inform visa office about that. I havent, so i am not sure. May be some one can share their experience. Also did your spouse get the email/instructions for own risk medicals?

I am in the same position as yours. My wife sent an email to Can Med Pk and they said that we need to have a medical request letter from Lvo in order to do the medical. My wife has now sent an email to LVO in this regards with subject URGENT. Will update you guys when we get a reply

Thank you for the detailed reply. Yes, My wife has sent an email to Can Med Pk and hopefully she will have the medical cleared before the interview, hoping that this will save us some time.

We are also not sure what own risk medical is, but i think i will ask my wife to do the medical as soon as possible to avoid delays

Received an email for Interview (May 2017 applicant here) Date: 7th March 2018 PA to appear in person and it is mentioned that sponsor might possibly receive a phone call if not in Pak. Also have been asked to bring marraige photos, communication proof, police clearance, and background check forms.

Did not receive any PFL. Have ordered notes will get it in 3 weeks. I have no clue why they are asking for an interview.

Yes my wife is also waiting for an interview, we got to know about the interview a couple of weeks back, i applied for her in May 2017. I think there are some other applicants here as well who are waiting.

Yes my wife will be called for an interview. Will receive GCMS notes hopefully in the next week or so.

No i cant think of any. Honestly i was not expecting an interview, hope GCMS notes will give us an indication/reason about the red flag(s).

Just got a reply from LVO after i sent them an email last month enquirig about the status of the application and unfortunately they are saying the application awaits the organisation of an interview in Pakistan. Furthermore they are saying they dont need any more documents and will contact us...
