As far as I know, you have to show you have the money to pay: - The entire tuition cost of your program, all the fees included. - Your living expenses for your first year. C$10000 main applicant + C$4000 spouse + C$3000 for each child. Hope this help.

That is not 100% accurate, I got my SIN# last week without the work authorization letter and my study permit was requested on may 28 2014. I had my enrollment letter because it was supposed to be required but the person who issued my sin# didn't ask for it, just my passport with my study permit...

That is 100% correct! I couldn't update this thread, but last week I received my SIN# without the confirmation letter. However, in my SIN# letter itself states that we must present the confirmation letter because my study permit starts with 9. Thank you all for your help!!!!

Usually, but as you can notice in this post, many times they just don't do it. You have to be prepared to request it if they don't send it along with your passport.

That is ok, I didn't submit any and my visa was approved. Thay give you this space in case you want to upload another document to make your application stronger but in the end is optional.

I applied online in the USA in May 28th, you can see my time line in my profile summary. In my case it took abot 10 weeks total, I didn't have to do biometrics. Good luck!

That's why I said "in my case". I posted the email address because it's not so easy to find. But surely the best place to contact first is directly the visa office where you applied.

I got my letter today! In my case, I had to email to los-angeles-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca and they just replied in a matter of minutes with a solution. The just sent a new message to mycic account with the letter attached. Either way, the POE Letter of Introduction is still needed to...

As I've researched, if they requested your passport, your study permit has been approved. Congrats! Regarding the Letter of Introduction, it is not clear for me what is going on. Is there anyone with experience about this?
