That`s odd, you should get something like this "DO NOT REPLY - This is an automatic acknowledgement / NE PAS REPONDRE - Ceci est un ". Check your spam folder

I got automated confirmation right away and response from CIC personnel a week after that my file was updated

Hi, Make sure that the size of all attachments is less that 5 MB in a single email. I had the same request, I sent docs by email and received confirmation from CIC few days ago.
