    Oath Ceremonies in Vancouver?

I took the test April 9 and are scheduled for the Oath Ceremony on May 31st in Vancouver. What did they tell you when you had your interview? They told us that it would take about 3 months for the invite, so we were a bit surprised when it came early.

In process December 20, 2018 And FYI for the people who requested name change: I was accessing ECAs with my maiden (original name) and then it just stopped working two days ago. I tried my new last name and then I discovered it was In Process. It's nice to see that they have updated it (and...

    October 2018 - Citizenship Applicants

AOR December 11, 2018 felt like I was holding my breath for a long time. We applied without PCC because that's the process for someone coming from my country (it was the same when applying for PR status). Apparently IRCC will ask for the PCC when appropriate.

I bought insurance from them (thankfully, didn't have to use it). Selected the plan from Travelance to cover us the first 3 months as immigrants, as MSP is still not active and the insurance we had in our country only covers "traveling" (we were residents, so they would have denied a claim)...

Just a heads up in case someone is in a similar situation: I am the main applicant and requested a change of address to CIC when we got an apartment in Canada (original address we gave at landing was a friends'). My PR card arrived to our apartment, but my husband's did not. Days passed and we...

Re: Getting a full drivers license in BC Hi Myat! 1. If your license/record is in English then there is no need to translate 2. For the knowledge test I studied the book and took the quizz from the website multiple times, then got 90% at the first try. Tip: if during your exam you don't know...

Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I have no experience with PRTD, but went out of Canada (and back) 2 times while waiting for PR card. The trick is to fly to an US airport and take a private car over to Canada. No commercial carrier (plane, bus, train) will allow you onboard with only a COPR, but if you can rent a car or have a...

I am accessing ECAS (https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas) using my COPR number.
