If your Meds are okay, there's hardly anything to worry about. It's normal for WVO to delay the communication for a month or two. Stop expecting, and when you will do this, you will get your PPR ;-)

It was an email indeed. 37 days after the DM in eCAS.

Usually within less than a week, but a month is also possible.

Done. Today I got a message that all the PR documents are ready for pick-up. The passports were not requested. Maybe, because my country (LTU) has a visa-free regime with Canada. Now I got ~9 months to land. Best of luck to you all!

Decision made, but no contact in 30 days

Hello everyone, I'm in a rather weird situation: I have done and sent the Meds, additional documents the VO requested (passport copies and personal history for a longer period), and got the Meds Received and Decision Made in the eCAS. So it seems as if everything was on the right track...

Actually, I got an impression that they felt into sleep before Easter and haven't woken since. There are no developments in the global SS since. And myself I got a DM on 30th March, but there's no further news yet. I'm guessing this might be related to some extended holiday in WVO.

Thumbs up. Fingers crossed for the rest of the process and a successful landing! Keep the bear spray handy in AB! :-)

Well congrats, mate! I kept my fingers crossed for you. Did they ask for anything else, passports aside?

Cool! Are they in the spreadsheet? Actually, you're only a few days ahead of me both in application date, and MR receipt, so don't forget to share THE news.

You seem to be jumping to far-reaching conclusions from 2 only PPRs (Ioanna and Nargit, who both applied very early, in May 2014). Every case is different, and two first PPRs are by far not a reasonable grounds for generalizations. And +1 to Roman. It seems patience is not too much of a virtue...

Just curious - was this before MR or after? Were there any specific requests on PoF (e. g. 6 mths statement, or a simple balance certificate)?

They do this to verify that you were *really* working and getting experience in your field. The social insurance contributions are an excellent proof. It seems that WAW ask for additional documentation together with the MR. E. g. I got a request to update my professional history to include...

Arika, it could be that your country of birth has been changed. E. g. USSR > Armenia; Czechoslovakia > Slovakia and etc. It seems that VOs are correcting the data for no-longer-existing countries, because these are causing problems in their Meds system.

    Self-Employed program for translators

Hello, fellow Canadians and Canadians-to-become! I'm thinking about applying for the Self-Employed program as a translator. They have this profession in the list, I work in this field for 15 years, have a stable network of clients, and fully support myself and my family (and of course I can...
