We got the SA email yesterday morning. Huzzah! We are now waiting on confirmation that the PCC and Sched A that were submitted via webform on 5/2/17 have been attached to our file and the medical exam request.

Definitely use a channeler. I used Fieldprint and I had my results in a week. You don't have to worry about mail as you create an online account where you can print and save a digital copy of your results once they are available. After you have downloaded your results they purge immediately...

I should add, I believe you need to have listed your spouse and children on YOUR PR application in order to sponsor them as a PR. Someone else may be able to add more clarity on that point

I think they are misunderstanding this from the CIC "You can’t be a sponsor if you: •were sponsored by a spouse or partner and you became a permanent resident less than five years ago" If you received a PR card that wasn't from a spousal sponsorship you are fine. :)

They changed the process and medicals can no longer be done up front. A panel physician will not see the applicants until an official request is sent to them by CIC. At the time CIC requests medical they give you the info you need to be able to schedule the appt.
