1) My status says " We are processing your background check". This status is almost from two weeks I believe. 2) I believe CIC will never call you. All communication will be over email or regular mail.

AOR goes to your email as long as you have provided one in your application. I don't understand your 2nd question. I think you might mean check your app status on the ECAS portal. If I interpreted your question correctly: You will be able to see your app on ECAS around the same time as your AOR.

Yeah, it's the same with me. I think my app was received on Oct 23rd and did not see an AOR yet. Called CIC this morning and they said Oct 17th apps are being processed but we can see AORs even for Oct 30 applications. We might need to wait for a few more days.
