Yes, I am from India and am stationed at Bangalore. I got my PCC within a week and had to shell out INR 1500, in total (1000 for registration for PCC for passport office & 500 to Local Police) for 2 certificates. (mine and my spouse). Have sent them to the CIC. Deb

Thank you Goku for the suggestion. I got my Police verification done today at the nearest Police Station. Awaiting message for Passport office to collect my PCC. Once I get it, I will send it across with the cover letter.
