In my case. My wife who is sponsor and born in canada. We call CIC last week , a nice agent pick up the phone. We ask her we need informaton to login ecas. Then she ask when do we sent the application and my wife's name,DOB and mine. she check for few second give us 2 UCI number one for me and...

Really? I use my wife's UCI and family name, date of birth to check. My wife also born in Canada

Call CIC they will give to you. I call them last friday. they give me my wife's UCI#

use applicant information check ecas only shows application received on which day. Try to use spouse information to check. I am applicant use my uci to check only see app received, use my wife's uci it shows in process "we start working your app on sep 25th GOOD LUCK :)
