I got mail for VO change on 13th June, sent the Passport on 17th, and got notification for collection on Monday 23rd. Unfortunately there is a notice period of 3 months for my spouse's current employer. There is no way to get around that...we don't want to wait as I have heard job opportunities...

Maybe by end of September...now comes the most difficult part...landing a job ??? Heard that its not a good idea to apply from outside Canada, as online job applications are often ignored :'(

I got original PPR on 28th May, sent back request for stamping on the same day itself. The mail for stamping from India has come on 12th June. Yes, the photo requirements have been sent in the mail.

Congrats! Even I received my PPR yesterday...is it confirmation that PR is done? Also, my spouse will be travelling abroad for 2 weeks starting today, so is it okay to send it after 15 days? Help!

ECAS Status is still Äpplication Received". I filed on 13th August, received AOR on 21st Oct. After that there has been no communication. My lawyer has just applied for CAIPS, not GCMS. What is the difference? Is GCMS a better idea?

Yes I have applied from within Canada, but now waiting for the PR outside Canada. Don't think the timelines vary, because I have seen similar cases with similar timelines. Though I don't know what's wrong in my case, still haven't got my MR :( :( :( Each day is just passing by...
