You are right dear, applying full length PGWP in a single go(after PP renewal) is safer and cheaper. But problem is that one cannot renew his PP before one year of its expiry date.

i too got visa till Aug,2016 while some others till Nov,2016. Reason behind this is that our CAQ was issued till Aug,2016 and as we are going to Quebec, so they cant issue visa beyond CAQ validity.

for any update in ur application u gonna receive 2 emails..first on time of update and second one after exact 24 hours. i came to know this by my personal experience. Now pls chk timings of ur mails.:)

Be patient bro it will come. I applied online on 31 May and medical marked as passed on 3 June. Then I was in a similar situation as u. Fortunately got passport request on 22 July after long wait.
