    goods to follow

Thanks for the help. Hopefully they arrive after us and this won't be an issue. If not then I'll do that; have my mom pay and then ask for a re-assesment. Maybe they won't even have duty on them. Like I said there's nothing of much value. Thanks again.

    goods to follow

So if the boxes arrive before us and there is duty to be paid my mom should she just refuse the boxes and they will be sent back to cbsa right? From there could we then explain the situation when we arrive and with the b4 which will have the same items listed as what is in the boxes?

    goods to follow

Would they notify the recipient in this case my mother that a package is being held for her? Could she not collect it and have us collect it when we arrive with our b4? It's just some clothes, purses and craft supplies. Nothing of high value nor new. What do you think?

    Health insurance

Does that insurance only cover emergencies? You can't go to the doctor for a visit with that? I never go but I was just wondering. I've never paid for non provincial coverage before.

Thanks RobTO and Keesio. I'll look into this. Did you choose the least amount of coverage and what amount of deductible? Thanks again

    Health insurance

My wife and I are going to Canada in September. She just got her permanent residency visa. I'd like to know how many people bought health insurance while waiting for their provincial insurance to kick in and which company they used. Thanks

We're going to B.C. I have just finished filling out the MSP forms. We just send those by mail and include a copy of her COPR? Also did you have health insurance or do you have to wait 3 months? And which bank has that offer?

We sent our PGR on time but I think your best bet would be to send an e-mail to the Mexico VO a.s.a.p. and let them know exactly what you wrote here that you are running out of time and explain to them that you need more time. Maybe they can give you an extension. It's worth a try.

    Mexico

Let's hope it's a good sign. I like to be positive but I don't want to be a dreamer and believe things until they actually happen. So hopefully we'll get some news soon and then we can really get excited. I've been down here now for 7 years and it's been time to move back home for awhile now...

This is from the online application they sent us. "COA orientation sessions are offered free of charge to all Family Class visa applicants". It says free for all applicants it doesn't say for applicants that have been granted visa's. So it may just be a bulk e-mail.

Maybe OhCanadiana can shed some light on this. Are you aware of this letter and do you think that it means that a decision has been or will be made soon?

We got the same e-mail today. I don't know if that's a sign that a decision is close or if it's just a bulk e-mail they send to everyone. Hopefully good luck is coming our way but I'm not getting excited yet.
