Hi guys, I have sent my passport, now waiting for the visa. As I live abroad, I might not be able to land until summer. Do you guys know how long the visa is valid for? Thanks

I just got the ' ready for visa' email from CIC. I live outside north america, and the email says If you or any of your family members are residing outside North America and you are unable to send your/their passport(s) to Canada and/or to provide a return mailing address in North America...

Congrats toby. You put a lot f time and effort into this forum. I am glad your journey is almost over.

It goes without saying that this email is fake. There are major silly errors in the body of email. Further, the CIC never asks you to provide such information without evidence.

Thanks. you are right. I tried it using a different computer and the IME number appeared in the PDF file. Perhaps, the software required an update.

Hi everyone, I am about to do my Medical exams. I Called a panel physician and they said your medical report should have had a barcode. Does the attached file you received in MR email had a barcode, mine did not?

I am a Sep 9th applicant and still waiting for my MR. Not sure why it is delayed while almost everyone (%85) has got the MR already. I don't think I can do anything but to wait though :)

Glad to see Sep applicants are progressing so fast. I think there are dozen of us waiting for the MR. Hope they have not forgotten us.

There is no pattern. I have not received the MR yet but the CIC requested me to pay the RPRF.

Ooops, you are certainly right. I actually sent the additional document to the correct address (cpc-ctd-ottawa @ cic.gc.ca). I made a mistake when posting in here (modified the previous post not to confuse the others). Regardless, I did not get the acknowledgement. Not sure if that was the case...

Hello again, I sent my additional documents to the email address I was asked to (cpc-ctd-ottawa @ cic.gc.ca). But I never received the acknowledgement for that email. Is it their usual practice? Should I re-send it?

I probably should stop posting here then as it may delay processing my file (it is somehow delayed already as compared to my neighbours on the spreadsheet)

Not me, but someone once used that phrase (mainstream applicants) to refer to himself and other 'elite' members of the forum (i.e. toby) :)
