No you r supposed to to carry the amnt as specified in the funds site Also you can carry a max of amount equal to 3000us $ in cash as per rbi guidelines otherwise u can carry upto one lakh dollars per passport for imm purpose

To be on safer side you should carry the minimum fund requrements as avialable at CIC site for 1,2,3,or more members in the family which has recently been updated e.g for four member family it is now approx 22000$.you can carry cash,TC,DD as alternatives . if u have money more than 10000CAD...

hi Ihave a querry. when one lands in toronto he updates his canadian address at CiC site for getting PR card by mail. what will happen if he moves from toronto to calgary after few days only due to work to settle there What will be the status of PR Card and health card.
