    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

If the IRCC treated these matters with the simplicity you seem to think they operate with, then why are you still here 12 months after applying?

I'm curious as well. I'm in the same boat. Same office. Scaroborough "non routine applications" blackhole.

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Glad to see things moving along, although it's quite shocking to me that people with a court record (dismissed or not) are getting ahead of those with a clean record...still, good on you for moving ahead.

    +13 MONTHS APPLICANT

You're reading too much into this. If nothing pressing came up during the interview, you have nothing to worry about. I can't even begin to imagine why you would worry about something so mundane...I don't mean to minimize your anxiety, but this really does seem like a non issue.

Applying for PR renewal while citizenship in process

Takes about 3 months to get AOR so you have time!

    Permanent Resident Renewal Timeline 2018

That's really odd. ECAS and MyCIC pull their data from the same place, so the fact that you're getting info on one but not the other is not normal. Anyway, I think they've probably finalized your application or are almost about to because that's what the call center agent told me last week. Give...

    october 2017 citizenship applicants

You must be completely delusional if you believe the stuff you just wrote down. You are literally extolling a white supremacist who has appeared on a neo-nazi podcast talking about the ills of nonwhite immigration because she is attention-whoring the murder of someone. This is like if I linked...

    october 2017 citizenship applicants

Are you really linking to a video by Faith Goldy in your signature? You realize that if people like her got their way you would probably never stand a chance in hell of even setting a foot in this country? What is wrong with you people? Hope you enjoy that citizenship...

    Permanent Resident Renewal Timeline 2018

I feel like if a natural-born Canadian learned about this process, they'd be stunned...like, you wait 3 months just to be told whether or not 5 documents you sent in the mail are to the correct specifications or not. And this isn't some trivial thing, it's a document that people need to travel...

citizenship applied on 2017 october, no updates yet

Email. Just gonna get it over with today. It's some kind of progress...I knew it was needed for a long time. Criminality never passed. it's been stuck under In Progress since December 2017. The only sub-activity has been "Fingerprints Required". I called last week to vent and sure enough the...

Takes a little over 3 months. Probably won't be until early January till you see your application on eCAS.

citizenship applied on 2017 october, no updates yet

Did anyone else here go through an equally painful PR process? I applied in Sept 2012 back when the processing time was 12 months and it wasn't until mid October 2013 that they got back to me. Almost everyone was done in well under a year.

How long it takes to open/start processing a Citizenship application?

It can take up to 4 months to get AOR these days. Sit tight.

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Nobody can expedite a background check, not even a court. If that's where you're stuck (like me), you just have to sit there and take it.

    Permanent Resident Renewal Timeline 2018

If it's anything like the 2014 strike, I'm afraid that will not be the case. I waited 5 months to get my OWP back then.

Congrats! How long between when it said "Application Received" on ECAS and when you got AOR?
