I got FP today

Takes a little over 3 months. Probably won't be until early January till you see your application on eCAS.

Did anyone else here go through an equally painful PR process? I applied in Sept 2012 back when the processing time was 12 months and it wasn't until mid October 2013 that they got back to me. Almost everyone was done in well under a year.

It can take up to 4 months to get AOR these days. Sit tight.

Nobody can expedite a background check, not even a court. If that's where you're stuck (like me), you just have to sit there and take it.

If it's anything like the 2014 strike, I'm afraid that will not be the case. I waited 5 months to get my OWP back then.
