I got my passport in 4 business days (including delivery time by Canada Post). Standard processing.

I was requested finger prints twice (since the finger print result is valid only for a year). I saw from my ATIP report that CIC processed finger prints results in 2-3 weeks after the finger prints were done.

Check the mailing address in your wife's ecas. In our case, my test invite was delivered to the correct address, but my wife's invite was sent to our old address (although the CIC had the new address in my wife's file).

Yes, even your wife is supposed to have received the invite. It might be a good idea to call the call center.

It would be advisable to take kids' documents including original birth certificates. Make sure, you have with you whatever is mentioned in the test invitation letter. Else, the process might be considerably delayed. All the best for the test.

If the CIC is not satisfied even after RQ that you met the residence requirements then, unfortunately, the application is likely to be rejected.
