Where is your visa office ?

I believe anyone who has a Pr status can sponsor family. But where it might be a challenge is not having a job. How does one support? Maybe it’s best to go check out cic website requirements to sponsor a child . I’m a citizen sponsoring my child so unsure if it’s the same.

Your medicals are a month ahead for my child... Hopefully you will hear something soon so I know mine is near too!

My update so far for my child is “we received MEdicals “... then no update again.

I'm not too familiar with BGC (Background check) and what it entails in that process or that step. Pero I know my child doesn't need biometrics , from what i was told.... (see below taken out from CIC) . I had it in bold below where mine applies. Hope this helps clarify your questions about...

Yes, of course. Let's keep each other posted for updates - for support and exchange of ideas/and information of the process timeline. I see other visa office (outside Manila) as fast as 1-2 months. I haven't seen anything less than 2 months for MVO .
