Finally! I got my PR card last friday! Landed by ground in Coutts border ( AB ) on Febrary 6th A little bit more than 2 months to get the card. Process finally completed. My journey started on March 2013 when I applied for the AINP ... Good luck to all of you guys !!

Hey guys! I landed in Alberta on Febrary 6th ( land border ) and I just received and email from CIC that " my application for my PR card has been received by CIC on 2016/04/05 " Thats the message you receive when they finally print the card ? How long from now to have it on my hands ? Any idea...

Looks like they want to make sure that the information you provided in your application is correct before they take a decision. .. I dont think you should worry too much if you have everything they are asking.. Good luck!

1 year today since CIC received my application. . Lets see if it's our lucky day.. Fingers crossed 8)

Well, my work permit expired on October 2014 and I had to wait until the first week of December 2014 to receive the extension. .. No movements at all in my ECAS during this time and still IP waiting for the Ready for Visa email someday hopefully soon :D

That's right... Nothing for us January 2015 applicants... :-X

Some February also got PPR during this week! Let's see if we see some great news for us next week...

Hey good morning guys! Yesterday I saw on the news the Inmigration minister saying that they are planning to finish in 2 weeks all the paperwork for the first 10,000 refugees coming to Canada... Lets see if we see some movement in our applications after this...

Hey guys! I applied for my BOWP last August and I received my new work permit by regular mail in my house 4 months later ( December ) Its not big deal being without anything as you would be in implied status and totally allow to work.. The only thing is you cant leave the country...

Really good thinking maxy81, My work permit expired on October and I applied for the OWP at the beginning of August. . It took 4 months to receive the work permit on my mail box last week .. So don't wait last minute and apply ASAP ✌

I didn't get any additional document request either.. Last time I heard from CIC was in August for paying the RPRF... Better to be patient... I dont think nothing is going to change before next year...

Hey guys! Well at least a good thing for me this morning.. After 4 months of waiting I just got the confirmation of my work permit extension from CIC ... Something is something... Have a great weekend people!
