    Applying for first pr card

You should just take new pictures and submit those. There is no reason why you would need to re-apply for a new PR card.

Student visa holder charged with second DUI

Is there any way for a student to remain in Canada with two pending DUI trials? I imagine one conviction will revoke the student visa. Any other possibilities to remain in Canada or will this also kill off any chance for future PR?

Submitting a spousal sponsorship without status in Canda

Can you sponsor an applicant who has no status in Canada? What happens if you visit Canada, stay well past your visa expiration and never renew, and then get married to a Canadian who then decides to sponsor you? Is that allowed? Must you have status for an in-land application? Any difference...

Yes, I did some research. You can print the form off the internet and apparently it can even be on plain paper and not the cardboard card.

Canadian Company hires USA film crew to shoot promo video

Would it make sense that customs would refuse entry to the crew saying that the Canadian company should be hiring Canadian workers and not USA workers?

If a Canadian company chooses to bring in a foreign film crew (from the USA) to shoot a promo video for their company, do the US film crew require work permits? Considering they are not entering the Canadian job market and are just coming for a specific job, would they be exempt? Or would they...

It's a religious camp and so I'm not sure many of the students would be interested in working or volunteering, but yes, it would be easier.

Volunteer summer camp - Tips count as wages?

After reading more on the subject, it looks like since 2017, any FN coming to volunteer or work in camp would be LMIA exempt but would require a valid work permit if they are receiving any form of remuneration (including tips). Considering that this camp is a registered Canadian charitable...

Volunteer summer camp - Tips count as wages?

Sounds like the volunteer work with tips only would be exempt from a work permit... volunteer work for which a person would not normally be remunerated, such as sitting on the board of a charity or religious institution; being a 'big brother' or 'big sister' to a child; being on the telephone...
