    Interview completed... now what??

My husband was told the exact same thing at his interview. The letter to redo the medical, with the PPR, came in July (2 months after his interview).

Hi Candy, I would suggest that he have all the documents as requested brought to the interview. If not, it will just delay your processing as they will request it again (if he is successful at the interview) thus throwing you back several more weeks. I would walk with one from both St. Vincent...

Yes, Confused, I know you have been very patient with CIC. Every case with them is processed differently. The outcome for one is not necessarily going to be the same outcome of another. . .even with strikingly similar circumstances. I think a lot depends on your country of origin, IO, visa...

Hey Confused, Sorry to hear your MP was not helpful. I guess it depends on who is representing you. I learned most about my file through my MPs office. By the time POS actually corresponded with us, it was the MP who told us what to expect from them weeks before. I find the POS office will...

That would be under applicant's information right? Well, if your applying outland then that would be your spouse's nationality. I believe you would just put Jamaica. Hope it works out!!!! :)

@guyanesecanadiangirl, Have you tried contacting your MP here in Canada? Did they give you guys an indication of how the interview went in June? May 2009 is way too long for them to be holding on to your papers. You should also order CAIP notes on your immigration file.

I wonder if an MP can expedite or issue a PR if the sponsor has paid for medicals/police clearances (sometimes twice), the other spouse has been successfully interviewed overseas, and has been waiting, with no solid reason, well beyond the 15 months. Can it not be issued from Canada due to...

Getting a job in Canada sucks

I have a Masters degree (obtained in Canada) and have been professionally employed with the same company for over 10 years. I have witnessed first hand how unfair it can be for new immigrants trying to apply with our institution. (Thats why Im working so hard to scout potential employers for my...

It has been explained in a number of posts that CIC/CHC is changing over to a new Computer system and program called GCMS. (This explains why a lot of us have had the medical line removed). No worries. . .
