One last question to whoever got PPR before me: They asked in the mail to send the passport to CPC-Ottawa, so when I am sending passport do I need to mention my application number anywhere?     If you are not refused, why would they ask such a question! I would definitely email them with the scanned copy of US Visa and entry pass (if available).

    If I were you I would postponed the ticket. It shouldn't take long time for them to issue the visa. In fact I wanna go home too, but waiting to get it done first.
