i assume you meant your application has been filed in november 2013 and been processed at manila visa office. however it seems you've gone through a different process from most of other applicants. most of us get request of passport and payment of rprf after waiting for months but you almost got...

Medical exam was finally done in late-sept. I believe the medical report was sent by the end of Sept. or early Oct. Hopefully this will remind CEM visa officers time is up...... 8)

Now, my newly updated timeline: Application sent to CPC-M: Dec. 15, 2013; Application received and signed: Dec. 17, 2013; Sponsorship approved, PR application being transferred to Manila: Jan. 16, 2014; Passport request Email from CEM: Jul. 7, 2014; In Process: Jul. 24, 2014.

It makes sense that PPR indicates the last step of the process, and it shouldn't take 3 to 4 months just putting a visa stamp in the passport. However, the spread sheet on the website "trackitt" indicate that almost all of cases (most of them were filed before 2011) got PPR a month or so after...

I don't quite understand why the thing changed so dramatically only in couple of years, even after those things (such excuse as strike, typhon and other visa offices closed) happened during this time, the total processing time is not prolonged 8 or 9 months longer than what it used to be in...

It seem the timeline for CEM process is significantly changed compare to what it used to be couple of year ago (e.g. in 2011). It only took a month to get passport request from CEM then but now it will take about 6 months. After then it will still take extra several months to get passport back...

I did get UCI number while I called CIC. CIC didn't send me the letter regarding SA by mail but email instead as CIC officer told me. I can't believe I missed that email. I usually check my email box very carefully even the emails in trash box.
