Hi everyone, I want to know if it is possible to travel between test and oath. Do they take your PR at the test? I will be leaving 4 to 5 weeks and I have no one to check my mail. However I will be checking the eCas on a weekly basis. Any comments? Thanks

My application was returned after close to a month for wrong fees. I resent it with a cover letter but I haven't signed the cover letter :) Waiting for it to be returned again. But I don't care because I am living here and intending to stay. So let it take as long as it'll take :)

Very good point. In fact if the government cares about the motivation behind coming to Canada they should address it in a law. They should say that any foreigner who is here for the passport shouldn't be allowed in. Then it is up to the foreigner to decide whether he should immigrate to Canada...

The way I did it is I filled unemployed under the work section. It was only for a month after I arrived so I said the reason for unemployment is Immigrating to Canada. And I put N/A under employer. Hope that helps.

I am thinking of sending both applications, because the original one will be stamped with the reception date. I will explain that I am sending both applications because it is not clear which one is valid for the date I applied. They can throw away whatever they don't need.

I just called an agent and he told me I can send the whole application with the new fees. Once they return my old application I can get a refund on it. I will do that, I'm glad it's only a 10 day delay rather than a couple of months. Thanks everyone for your suggestions

I just found out that I payed $200/person!!! I signed it on the 4th however! If they return it we will loose a couple of months!!!
