    The way I did it is I filled unemployed under the work section. It was only for a month after I arrived so I said the reason for unemployment is Immigrating to Canada. And I put N/A under employer. Hope that helps.

    I am thinking of sending both applications, because the original one will be stamped with the reception date. I will explain that I am sending both applications because it is not clear which one is valid for the date I applied. They can throw away whatever they don't need.

    I just called an agent and he told me I can send the whole application with the new fees. Once they return my old application I can get a refund on it. I will do that, I'm glad it's only a 10 day delay rather than a couple of months. Thanks everyone for your suggestions
