    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey everyone! I haven't been on this thread for a while but I do try & keep an eye on the conversations.. it can get so frustrating with all this waiting & continued delays. Anyway, this is mostly directed at Quebec based applicants... 1) If you DO NOT have your CSQ request letter, please let...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey folks. This was us writing in french as we thought there might be more chance in C.Alexander replying.. which worked. We said.. "Le gouvernement conservateur veut-il des immigrants? Si oui, pkoi de si longs délais pour ceux déjà au Canada? #askAlexander @MinChrisA" >> "Does the...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hmmm.. well keep me posted! As usual we're being given just slightly different info. The current procedure for us is, as far as we know & from numerous calls & discussions with immigration Québec/CIC/QC forum people etc (plus after my OH spoke with them this morning!) Apply & attach OWP...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

How frustrating, we understand how you feel. Definitely worth trying to get some private insurance, at least temporarily. Just wondering though.. we thought once you get your CSQ, and after 3 months, you would be covered by Quebec healthcare (RAMQ). OR is it that you must have 1st stage (AIP)...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I second what Smsm81 says.. as far as I know it's 3 months after AIP. Depending on private insurance through my partner's work it could also be once we get CSQ.. but still that'd be around AIP time, not after PR.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

I understand exactly where you're coming from. It's frustrating as we could've had most of this sorted by now if we'd have gone outland. We couldn't have predicted these delays. Either way, we've decided to stay with inland as I'm already here & settled & on implied status. If we switch, there...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey guys, Please keep me posted on what they say. If you read my last post, I was told it'd be a while yet (AIP) before we can apply for csq etc. Therefore no access to french classes/insurance for even longer. By the time they realise they need to send us our request letter, it'll probably...

Quebec permanent residency- need some help :)

If you're applying inland.. It may be a rather long wait. Have a look at my recent post here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/inland-applications-2014-t179207.2220.html (4th comment, reply #2223) I applied in January, AOR in May, nothing else since.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey everyone (esp. Quebec applicants), Gave CIC a call to see how things are going & if they know whether the procedure for QC applicants is the same with all the extended delays etc etc. I didn't feel like she was 100% sure what I was talking about, but was very friendly so.. I explained to...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey thanks for letting me know.Hmm... I got my AOR over a month ago now. Have a feeling Mississauga have forgotten to issue the requests to those applying from QC. When I call they say within 10 months.. as in the same time for 1st stage approval... but I think they've no idea. Will just mean...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey folks.... Have any late 2013 or 2014 Quebec applicants received their email or letter request from CIC to apply for their CSQ application etc? http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/apply/undertaking-application/index.html As far as I know, we need...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

We need to wait for the letter from CIC (posted to us I believe) requesting that we apply for our CSQ (certificat de sélection du Québec) & to send off our application kit http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/sponsors-sponsored/apply/undertaking-application/index.html...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hey! Got our AOR last week via email to sponsor. Can now access ECAS with app number (couldn't previously with receipt number etc). It has our mailing address details & the same as you, "We received your application for permanent residence on ..." Also, spoke with CIC as we are Quebec...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2014

Hi Anng! Try not to panic at this stage. If you have just sent your application, the next step is to wait for your AOR (Acknowledgement of receipt). This is an email sent from CIC to the sponsor. This basically lets you know your application arrived & has been put aside to be processed. You'll...
