Well I was just asked for my TWO ID's and the Citizenship Certificate (all originals). I'm not married so cannot really comment on the marriage certificate. Though I doubt they would ask for the marriage certificate unless you are changing your name.. Maybe some couples can add on to this? :)

Hey brbr No they will not take your certificate away. The agent just needs to scan it to his computer and will return it to you there and then. I just applied for mine a week ago as well. So take your original documents, photocopies will not be accepted. And do not laminate your...

Yes it is. I used it for my application along with my health card and passport.

sounds great @mandeepsandhu ! I found it a bit surprising though that the oath was done in french and anthem just in french? I suppose I just assumed it would all be in English - guess I better brush on the french part of the oath and the anthem before my day! ;)

At the oath can you confirm that this is what we need: 1. two pieces of id 2. pr card 3. all original documents submitted with application 4. letter 5. all passports did i miss anything?

Hello Veterans, Does anyone know if we get the canadian citizenship card at the oath ceremony? Or do we apply for the citizenship card later? I have heard they take your PR card away at the ceremony - is that true?
