I'm from Latin America and I got RQed. I know a lot of people from this region that got RQed too so, in my opinion, people from the Middle East are not "targeted".

Thanks! That's not a bad idea... I did submit fingerprints back in October and I was told that if you don't have a criminal record it just takes one day to do a background check, but I'm not sure how long the check is valid for.

Does anyone know what happens after our files are transferred to Scarborough? Does that mean that the judge already looked at our files and we're just waiting to be assigned an oath date? Or do they still need to review our files? Maybe someone that received their ATIP can share some insights...

I also took the test in St. Clair on Feb 13th. CIC said my results have been uploaded but that's it. The wait is so stressful!!! I never thought it would take so long and now I have vacations and business trips planned out of the country and I'm afraid things are going to get really...

My exam was Feb 13th. I call CIC every week, either on Monday or Tuesday, and before today they had always told me that my file was still in St. Clair and that my exam results hadn't been uploaded.

I called CIC this morning and they told me my results have been uploaded and my file transfered to Scarborough. I hope this is accurate info! Now I'm worried because I have an out of country two weeks vacation planned the last two weeks of May; I did let CIC know well in advance but I hope...

It depends what country you're orginially from because you could come in as a tourist. It's probably not a good idea to risk it, though... Try calling CIC to request that they expedite your oath ceremony. Show them proof of your trip and tell them that you don't want to create more work for CIC...

The wait is killing me!

No update from my end... It's been 10 weeks already and my results haven't even been uploaded or anything.

No update yet :( I called CIC today and no news... My test was on Feb 13th at St. Clair. I hope this wait ends soon for all of us!!!
