I did call The CIC Number on the COPR. That's not what the lady said. She said I have to make an appointment. If I don't want to wait, I will have to go to the boarder.

Stalintouch, when do you expect to get PPR and COPR? The wait to land at canada place is too long, its 8 weeks plus. Want to see if anyone is planning to land in the next 2 weeks? Perhaps carpool there.

Called CIC after i got my CoPR to make an appointment to do the landng at the local CIC office. Apparently a visa officer will contact me in 8 weeks to give me a date and time. Kind of inpatient now.....I may just take 2 days off work and drive to the boarder. >:(

Thanks, I will call and ask. That will work too. Too bad I burnt all my vacation days when i went back to visit my Folks back in October. Will not able to take any vacation for a good while. HAHA.

I am wondering the same. I did the medical a week ago. Still waiting for the doctor to upload the result. Anyone knows if we can make a landing appointment ahead of time?

You are lucky if CIC just asked you to send in the form. I missed one signature, CIC returned the entire package back to me by mail. Wasted 2 months. It is my own fault though :-X

I got mine at 6pm Mountain Time, which is 8pm Eastern Time. Pretty sure noone in government is working that late. Automated E-mail perhaps?

If the clinic is e-medical ready, you do not need pictures. $258 is cheap, the cost for immigrantion medical examination here is Edmonton is $400 plus. Again, it varies place from place.

I did not get PCC request either, and I did not send it with my application.
