No need to worry. I am Nov 26 applicant still waiting DM. I had my spouse on file since day1. CIC agent said to me:"We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application. It is still within processing times."

Nov 26 applicant still waiting. CIC call centre agent refuse to access my file since there are a few more days to reach 16months threshold.

Anybody know if CIC will ask additional photos when PPR comes? I recall I already sent 6 photos along with my application package.

your method is right, keep trying, You will always hear "we are currently experiencing high volumn of...." But if you are lucky enough, you will get into the waiting list for next available agent. It usually takes 20mins to wait. Good luck

Nov 26 applicant... I even ordered GCMS note on Nov. 28th 2016 and still waiting for them.. ( it has been crazy 2.5 months); submitted CSE last week and no reply :P Called their call centre but everytime no available agent.

Well, different VO may have different approaches. VO outside of Canada send MER in very early stage while inland applicants will only get MER before PPR. Based on other inland cases I've seen, I think as an inland applicant, doing that upfront medical exam could expedite my case a bit. But...
