Hi, I am in the same boat. Been 2 weeks since sending applciation to Surrey office by purolator. No update (keep showing record not found). They dont pickup the phone and the call directly disconnects! Any tips? What is the email to followup with them? Thanks.

I think you should be ok to re-apply. The process is actually a tiny bit easier on the new portal.

Thanks for your kind words. If fees are not a concern, please consider re-applying using the new portal. Might move your file. They are just lazy..years of experience dealing with different kind of applications.

I think its worth a shot! But since yours is an older application, might be better to get the documents updated with latest date? Sorry to hear about your situuation and hope you get to meet your mom soon.

Please keep trying frequently...slots open up as people cancel closer to the date.

Good Point. No i was too lazy and pissed off to redo all the documents with new date. I just uploaded the same documents with older dates from Oct. I dont think they looked at details. They just moved on.

I think so. In India we will get 2 separate airway bill no. (courier tracking) and they can be handled separately...as in received at different times.
