Hello.. Please add my timeline to the tracker. App Sent - Oct 30, 2017 Received - Nov 2, 2017 Location - Mississauga App type - Family AOR - Jan 21, 2018. Got the AOR yesterday after a long wait.. :)

My guess is that some of Nov first week applications went into pile of Oct applications and will start getting AOR after Oct has been completed.

This is exactly my situation. Family application received on Nov 2 and no AOR yet. I don't know what's gone wrong.

I am in the same boat. App delivered on Nov 2 but no AOR so far. Wonder how many Nov first week applications are waiting for AOR.

I had a question. If it has been answered earlier, pardon me. The AOR is sent via email if we have provided one in application. Does the rejection reason come via email and the documents returned in post? Or even the rejection reason is in the post with returned documents?

Thanks. Is this updated? For November applicants the last update is for AOR received on Dec 19. But a number of people posted that they got AOR yesterday Dec 20.

Thanks for sharing your experience. This piece of paper that US office gave you. Is it the administrative refusal that I have seen some people mention in their posts?

If this is the first time you are applying for open work permit, select with a new employer. If you already have an OWP and working with some employer, select with the same employer.
