Got the Immigrant Visa today (Finally phew!!) The Visa delivery didn't accompany any great fanfare or celebrations. Even the postman must have felt bad to come ask for baksheesh (after all these days of wait) as he only left the mails with the guard and quietly walked away.. All the best to...

OMG!!!! Its Decision Made for us FINALLY!!! NDVO lords have decided to move ahead with the penultimate step and hope they now deliver the PP with the not so shinny visa soon?!! I guess they will now move swiftly to clear rest of the 2013 applicants..all the best guys!

Thats a long time to DM. Did you have any travel history OR other hiccups with your application? Any input form you will help the audience here understand this really time consuming process from IP to DM.

Congrats on IP..but this is only the beginning of your final wait. I wish NDVO had the same good thoughts as you to give DM's to all IP's before New Years. Nevertheless, be hopeful..all the best!

I suggest not to go by their dates. If your case is straight forward, expect a re-medical request in the next few days.
